Corey + Samantha - New York City - 09.02.22
Samantha reached out to me with a solid vision and mood boards for her city elopement. The photos she sent me in her mood board were classy, romantic, and editorial with living details and candid shots with all of the city vibes. The couple had a courthouse ceremony before the photos we took with their family and friends at the New York Public Library in Midtown Manhattan which was a stunning backdrop to create the timeless European-esque vibe. After the photoshoot, they had celebratory drinks with their loved ones and will be jet-setting off to Europe to celebrate their new marriage, just the two of them which seems so fitting since this couple formed a bond over their love for travel. I hope these photos remind any couple that you can create your wedding day YOUR WAY and can do what is most important to you without sacrificing heirloom wedding photos.

Creating Candids
One thing Samantha that was important to Samatha was candid shots with family which we knew would be a challenge since there was no reception. I knew if she wanted a candid moment, I would have to create one. At the end of the session, we wrapped it up with a faux exit down the library staircase with friends and family cheering them on. The whole crowd of by-standers also joined in cheering and clapping for the newlyweds and it was a truly magical moment.
Congratulations Samantha + Corey! I wish you all the love, happiness, and travel!
